Membership of the Association

The National Ube Association invites applications from individuals and organisations active in the Philippine ube sector. Membership is open; recognition is earned.

Why the Association exists

The value generated by Philippine ube has, for generations, flowed away from the people who grow it. The Association exists to interrupt that pattern: by maintaining a credible standard, by recognizing those who uphold it, and by ensuring that the premium genuine ube commands is returned to the farm.

1.

Recognition that travels

Conformance with the Philippine Ube Standard is declared by the Association's mark, which travels with the crop and distinguishes it from artificially coloured substitutes.

2.

A premium that returns to you

Recognition supports a verifiable premium for Standard-conforming ube, retained as far up the chain as possible — at the farm, the cooperative, and the region of origin.

3.

A seat at the table

Members are represented in dialogue with government, trade bodies, and international counterparts. Growers form the Association's core constituency.

4.

Shared knowledge and infrastructure

Agronomic guidance, heritage-variety conservation, and assessment training are coordinated across the membership for collective benefit.
